| Rajouri police arrests drug peddler; 7 grams of heroin like narcotic substance recovered in Thanamandi | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 14: Continuing its sustained drive against drug trafficking under the Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyan Police Station Thanamandi achieved success by apprehending a known history sheeter and drug peddler during routine naka checking at Karyote Thanamandi.
During the Checking, police intercepted one individual identified as:
Imtiaz Ahmed @ Topi S/O Ali Mohd R/O Karyote Thanamandi
During search the accused was found in possession of approx 7 grams of heroin like narcotic substance. He was arrested on the spot and the contraband was seized in accordance with legal procedures.
In this regard a Case FIR No 36/2026 under relevant sections of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Thanamandi and further investigation is underway. |
