Early Times Report NEW DELHI, Apr 17: Former Chief Minister of J&K & former Union Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad has welcomed the ceasefire in Lebanon, calling it a crucial step towards restoring peace and stability in the region. In a statement Azad said, "Welcome the ceasefire in Lebanon, a much needed step towards peace and stability. Hope all sides honour the commitment, protect civilians and move towards a lasting resolution through dialogue." He further emphasised that sustainable peace can only be achieved through constructive engagement, adding that conflicts must be resolved through dialogue and understanding, not through bloodshed. He expressed hope that all stakeholders will act with responsibility and sincerity to ensure the ceasefire leads to a durable and peaceful outcome. |
