JAMMU, Apr 18: In order to ensure security of Mata Vaishno Devi Ji track, Katra town and adjoining hills connecting shrine, including Gobian village, Sulla, Remindi and Devi Pindian, today DIG Udhampur Reasi range Shiv Kumar Sharma IPS alongwith SSP Reasi Mukund Tebriwal IPS conducted security review, coordination meeting, and activation of VDG’s, in foothills of Mata Vaishno Devi Ji Shrine.
DIG and SSP reached in these far flung area by foot patrolling met with yatries on track of Devi Pindian, also directed SHO, SDPO, IC PP Kakryal to extra vigilant and conduct regular checking and patrolling in this area. Officers appealed to general public to give timely information of suspected persons, anti-social and anti national elements. |
