SAMBA, Apr 21: Intensifying its drive against drug smugglers/peddlers in the ongoing Nasha Mukt Abhiyan, Samba Police has arrested two drug peddlers in the jurisdiction of Police Station Ramgarh and recovered approximately 10.44 grams heroin-like substance (Chitta) from their possession.
Acting on information received from reliable sources, a team of Police Station Ramgarh, intercepted two pedestrians under suspicious circumstances who were coming from Rakh Barotian via Tarapur road and moving towards Gudwal side. During frisking, approximately 10.44 grams of heroin-like substance (chitta) was recovered from their possession.
The drug peddlers identified as Ashok Singh S/o Khajoor Singh R/o Gooran Panasa district Reasi and Nisar Ahmed S/o Mohd Hamid R/o Dandesar district Rajouri have been arrested. The contraband item has also been seized.
A case FIR No 26/2026 U/S 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Ramgarh and investigation started. |
