"AUTHOR TALKS by Dr Tabeya Deep Kaur" held at Govt M A M College

JAMMU, Apr 23: Department of English, Government M A M College organized a thought-stirring, morally-uplifting and highly motivational interactive presentation by Dr Tabeya Deep Kaur; a Regenerative Dental Surgeon by profession as well as a celebrated, budding novelist by her inner calling. Head of the Department Dr Ruth K Masehi coordinated the entire event under the patronage of Prof Dr Archana Kaul, Principal of the institution. The session commenced in a customary fashion at the welcome address of Dr Pooja Sharma and culminated with a formal vote of thanks by Prof Nishu Devi, Department of English whereas the report of the event was drafted by Prof Rashu Sharma, Dept of English. The event was graced by the presence of the other worthy members of Department of English including Dr Amit Pal, Dr Sanjay Samyal and Dr Attiya Noor. At the very outset the speaker stuck an interactive and compassionate chord with the students of the institution by highlighting the pros and cons of lust for fame versus urge for social service by connecting with the masses. While quoting anecdotes from her own life as well as from the autobiographies of great achievers like J.K. Rowling and Malala, Dr Kaur shook the complacent demeanor of the students and charged their spirits with the larger aims of life and eternal success. She brought to fore the nuances and dilemmas of emotional as well as spiritual intricacies of life. While presenting a detailed presentation of her debut novel "The Silent Guardian: Finding strength in Life's transitions" Dr Kaur befriended the students and made them actualize their existence as a tiny spec of larger divinity named " Almighty". Throughout her session, she kept the students charged with utmost positivity including resilience and fortitude for life. She provided some handy tips to the students like never question God " Why Me" infact state in a majestic manner " Try Me". The major takeaway of the session was that the " Endings as new Beginnings". Towards the end of her session she provided the star performer students of the session with her autographed debut novel as a mark of recognition.
