JAMMU, Apr 23: Piping ceremony was held at 1st Women Battalion, Channi Himmat, Jammu for the promotion of Inspector Javaid Akhter (EXJ985731) to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP). On the occasion, the officer was formally decorated with his new rank by R.C. Kotwal, JKPS (SSP), Commandant, in the presence of Shri Vishal Manhas (SP), Subash Chander (DySP), Anita Katal (DySP), and Reena Devi (DySP). All officers congratulated him and wished him success in his new role. While addressing the gathering, R.C. Kotwal, Commandant, advised the officer to perform his duties with dedication and honesty.
