Doda police traced missing woman, girl; reunited them with families

DODA, May 4: Demonstrating prompt response and commitment towards public service, Doda Police has successfully traced a missing woman and a missing girl in two separate cases and reunited them safely with their families.
In the first case, Shareefa Begum W/o Abdul Wahid (Nomad), A/P Thathera Basti Bhaderwah, who had been reported missing at Police Station Bhaderwah vide DD No. 14 dated 24-04-2026 (reference signal No. 290/Psb dated 24-04-2026), has been traced out through sustained efforts of the police team led by SHO PS Bhaderwah and handed over to her legal heirs after completing necessary formalities.
In another case, Ruksana Banoo D/o Mohd Hanief R/o Nagni, Tehsil Kahara, District Doda, whose missing report was entered at Police Post Kahara, has also been successfully traced and reunited with her family through the efforts of IC PP Kahara under the jurisdiction of PS Gandoh.
