Early Times Report
SAMBA, May 4: Jubilant celebrations were held at the BJP office in Samba as party leaders and workers distributed sweets, marking what they described as a thumping victory in West Bengal and strong performance in other states.
BJP J&K Vice President Rekha Mahajan led the celebrations and addressed party workers, attributing the victory to the continued trust of women voters in the leadership of Narendra Modi. She said that "mothers, sisters, and daughters across India have once again blessed the BJP with their votes."
Rekha Mahajan emphasized that politics is driven by ideas and public sentiments, adding that the BJP's governance model focused on development, national security, and empowerment of marginalized sections has resonated strongly with the people. She stated that the results reflect the growing acceptance of policies aimed at women empowerment and inclusive growth.
Launching a strong attack on Mamata Banerjee, she claimed that the people of West Bengal have given a decisive response against what she termed as "politics of exploitation, intimidation, and anti-Sanatan approach."
Calling the outcome "a moment of freedom for the people of Bengal," Rekha Mahajan said that the mandate signifies a rejection of fear-based politics and a victory of democratic values. She added that the results are not just a win for the BJP, but for those who prioritize India's national security and cultural identity.
She also highlighted that the BJP has performed strongly across multiple states, reflecting the continued popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the strategic leadership of Amit Shah.
Prominent leaders present on the occasion included District President Asha Rani, State Secretary Arun Sharma, Seh Prabhari Manmohan Singh, District General Secretaries Rakesh Sambyal and Amit Dubey, along with a large number of enthusiastic party karyakartas.
The atmosphere remained festive, with party workers expressing confidence that the results mark a significant political shift and further strengthening of the BJP across the country.
