DIG Shiv Kumar Sharma reviews security, training preparedness at SKPA Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, May 4: Shiv Kumar Sharma, IPS, DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range / Incharge Director, SKPA Udhampur, convened a security review-cum-preparedness meeting regarding upcoming training courses at the Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy, Udhampur.
The meeting was attended by Dy. Director (Indoor/Training), Dy. Director (Outdoor), SKPA; Commandant, IRP 24th Battalion; CPO SKPA; Addl. SP Udhampur; Assistant Directors (Q), (Admn), (Training/R&D) and (Outdoor) and other officers of SKPA Udhampur
A comprehensive review of the security apparatus and training preparedness was undertaken. Emphasis was laid on heightened vigilance, strengthening intelligence mechanisms and ensuring seamless coordination among all units. The Chair directed officers to intensify patrolling, maintain a high level of alertness and reinforce security arrangements at all vulnerable points and also stressed the importance of meticulous planning and efficient management of forthcoming training courses, ensuring that all logistical and administrative arrangements are in place well in advance.
The meeting concluded with clear directions to all concerned officers to remain proactive and committed towards maintaining a secure environment and upholding the high standards of training at the Academy.
