Pipping ceremony held at 1st Women Battalion Channi Himmat Jammu

JAMMU, May 4: On 04 May 2026 at the 1st Women Battalion, Jammu, today hosting an impressive and dignified Pipping Ceremony, marking significant milestones in the careers of its personnel. On the occasion, 11 Assistant Sub-Inspectors were promoted to the rank of Sub-Inspectors (SIs), while 04 Head Constables were elevated to the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs).
The promotees were ceremonial adorned with their new ranks by Shri R.C. Kotwal, JKPS (SSP), Commandant, in the presence of Sh.Vishal Manhas (SP), Sh.Subash Chander (DySP), Ms. Anita Katal (DySP), Ms. Reena Devi (DySP) and Shri Javaid Malik (DySP). All senior officers extended their congratulations to the promotees and conveyed their best wishes for success in their new roles and responsibilities. While addressing the gathering, Shri R.C. Kotwal, Commandant, emphasized the importance of dedication, integrity, and professionalism in the discharge of duties, and encouraged the officers to uphold the highest standards of service.
The ceremony concluded on a note of pride, dignity, and celebration.
