ADC Jammu Ansuya Jamwal releases devotional song “Jogiya Aa Vehre”

JAMMU, May 6: A soulful devotional song titled "Jogiya Aa Vehre" was officially released during a special function held at the Press Club of Jammu today. Organized by Keshav Chopra, Chairman of Samvedna Society, the event was graced by Additional Deputy Commissioner Jammu Ansuya Jamwal JKAS and Deputy Director Tourism Publicity Jammu Savita Chauhan JKAS, who jointly unveiled the track alongside Keshav Chopra and Singer of J&K Deepak Kumar .
The devotional song is performed by singer Ritika Kakkar and features lyrics by Yuvi with music composed by Kumar Gaurav. The visual presentation of the song was handled by Simar Mattu and the project has been released on the official YouTube channel of Ritika Kakkar. The production also acknowledged the special support of Mahant Bitta, Mata Kawaljit Kaur, Baba Tarlochan Singh, and Sukvinder Foji in bringing this creative work to fruition.
Speaking at the launch, Additional Deputy Commissioner Ansuya Jamwal commended the artistic effort, noting that such creative endeavors serve to enrich the cultural fabric of the region. She emphasized the importance of supporting local artists who bring spiritual and cultural stories to the forefront through modern platforms.She also urges the youth to stay away from drugs.
Deputy Director Tourism Publicity Savita Chauhan expressed her appreciation for the production quality and the talent involved. She highlighted that the tourism and cultural sectors thrive when young performers take the initiative to showcase their skills, providing a positive outlet for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
Chairman of Samvedna Society Keshav Chopra stressed the social significance of the event, stating that the youth should say no to drugs and yes to talent. He remarked that channelizing energy into music and art is a powerful way to stay away from social evils. Chopra further appreciated the Lieutenant Governor, the Jammu Kashmir Administration, and the Jammu Kashmir Police for their continuous and effective efforts in the ongoing campaign against drug abuse, noting that their work is creating a safer and more talent-oriented environment for the next generation.
Deepak Kumar managed the proceedings of the function and Ritika Kakkar Presented vote of thanks.
Abhishek Gupta, Sourav Gupta, Sahil Verma, Ashish Sharma, Jimmy and others were also present.
