JAMMU, May 6: Shiv Kumar Sharma, IPS, DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range, visited Government Middle School, Buttan in District Reasi on 06.05.2026, as part of his outreach to students in rural and remote areas.
During his visit, the DIG interacted warmly with students and staff, took keen interest in understanding the academic environment of the school. He encouraged the students to pursue their goals with dedication and determination.
Emphasizing the importance of a healthy lifestyle, he advised students to adopt nutritious eating habits, remain focused on their studies and strive to become responsible citizens and future nation builders. He also highlighted the significance of sports and physical activities in maintaining fitness, reducing stress and promoting overall well-being, inspiring students to lead balanced and disciplined life.
The DIG further urged teachers to instill strong moral values among students, guiding them towards becoming individuals of integrity and character who can contribute meaningfully to society and the nation.
