JAMMU, May 13: Under the supervision and guidance of Dr. Mohd Haseeb Mughal, IPS, DIG Traffic Range Jammu & Sh. Amit Bhasin, JKPS, SSP Traffic City Jammu, Traffic City Jammu has launched a special enforcement drive in Jammu City headed by Dy. Superintendent of Police, Traffic City North Jammu, Sh. Ashwani Sharma, and assisted by DTI Old City Jammu and other officers / officials. During the special enforcement drive 07 two wheelers bearing Regd NO. JK02BW-3011, JK02BV-7149, JK02CR-4257, JK02BP-6709, JK02DD-4358, JK02BT-2351, JK02DF-2177 were found plying on the road in contravention to the Traffic Rules in vogue, on checking status of their Registration Certificates (RCs) their Registrations Certificate (RCs) were found suspended by the concerned department (RTO). Thereby the Traffic Police City Jammu, acting swiftly seized the above mentioned vehicles instantly.
Moreover, general public is requested to refrain from violation of traffic rules and is also requested to clear the pending challans to avoid the suspension of RCs/DLs of their vehicles.
Further, Traffic Police City Jammu is committed to continue such enforcement drives on regular basis, so as to ensure the safety of the road users. |
