| Badrinath Sharma felicitated on appointment as JKAP Kissan Wing President for J&K UT | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, May 14: Former Sarpanch Badrinath Sharma was today accorded a warm felicitation at the Gandhi Nagar office of Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party after being appointed President of the party's Kissan Wing for the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The appointment was made on the directions of party President Altaf Ahmad Bukhari. The felicitation programme was led by Provincial President Manjit Singh in the presence of Senior Vice President Provincial and former MLA Faqir Nath along with several senior leaders and office bearers of the party. Speaking on the occasion, Manjit Singh congratulated Badrinath Sharma on his new responsibility and expressed confidence that his long association with public service and grassroots leadership would greatly strengthen the party's outreach among farmers and rural communities across Jammu and Kashmir. He stated that the appointment reflects the party leadership's commitment towards empowering experienced and dedicated workers who remain connected with the common masses and understand the real issues being faced by people in villages and border areas. In his address, Manjit Singh particularly highlighted the leadership qualities and political vision of Altaf Ahmad Bukhari, stating that he has always stood for the politics of truth, honesty, sincerity and transparent public service. He said that unlike traditional politics based on hollow promises, Altaf Bukhari has consistently raised public issues with seriousness and courage while working tirelessly for the welfare of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He added that the Apni Party leadership has continuously focused on addressing the concerns of farmers, unemployed youth, traders, daily wagers and other neglected sections of society, thereby earning the trust and respect of the common people. Former MLA and Senior Vice President Provincial Faqir Nath also congratulated Badrinath Sharma and said that strengthening the Kissan Wing would further enhance the party's efforts to highlight the problems of farmers and agriculturists. He stressed the need for collective efforts to ensure that the voices of rural communities are effectively represented and their genuine demands are taken up before the government.
