Early Times Report RAJOURI, May 15: The Indian Army conducted awareness campaigns under Nasha Mukt Abhiyan at JNV Kotranka, District Rajouri and Kulali, District Poonch on 14 May 2026, focusing on the theme "Say No To Drugs" and the bad effects of drugs on life. The initiatives aimed to sensitise students and local youth about the physical, psychological and social consequences of drug abuse while encouraging them to adopt a healthy, disciplined and drug-free lifestyle. At JNV Kotranka, medical staff conducted interactive sessions, presentations and open discussions to promote preventive awareness and responsible decision-making. Slogans such as "Say No To Drugs, Yes To Life" and "Choose Health, Choose Future" reinforced the message. At Kulali, the lecture highlighted how drug addiction destroys health, careers and families and warned that anti-national elements exploit drugs to target youth in border areas. Students were encouraged to focus on education, sports and skill development for a brighter future. The programmes witnessed active participation from students, teachers and locals, who appreciated the initiative.
