Early Times Report JAMMU, May 16: In a significant step towards strengthening the infrastructure and academic environment of the University, Prof. Jawaid Iqbal, Vice Chancellor, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University along with Ravi Kumar Sihag (IAS), Registrar, BGSBU conducted an extensive visit to various ongoing developmental projects across the University Campus to review the pace and quality of work being executed. During the visit, the Vice Chancellor and Registrar inspected several key infrastructure projects currently under construction and nearing completion across the University Campus. The inspection included a detailed visit to the newly constructed University gate, staff quarters, academic block and the indoor stadium. The officials reviewed the pace and quality of work being carried out and assessed various developmental and upgradation initiatives aimed at strengthening the academic, residential, and sports infrastructure of the University. They interacted with engineers, executing agencies and concerned officers and directed them to ensure the timely completion of all projects while strictly adhering to prescribed quality standards and specifications. Emphasizing the importance of efficient execution, the Vice Chancellor stated that the University is committed to creating modern infrastructure and student-friendly facilities in line with contemporary educational requirements. He stressed that all developmental works should be completed within stipulated timelines so that students, scholars, and faculty members can benefit from improved facilities at the earliest. The Registrar also reviewed the implementation process and emphasized proper coordination among departments for smooth execution of the projects. He highlighted that infrastructural development plays a vital role in the academic growth and institutional advancement of the university. The visit reflects the proactive approach of the university leadership in accelerating developmental activities and strengthening the institutional infrastructure of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University for the benefit of the academic community and society at large. |
