| BJP OBC Morcha, welfare association flag off pilgrim buses for Sudh Mahadev Yatra | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 24: In a spiritually vibrant and devotional atmosphere, the BJP OBC Morcha in collaboration with the Bhagwati Nagar Welfare Association organised a grand flag-off ceremony for pilgrims embarking on the holy Sudh Mahadev Yatra. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from devotees, social activists and BJP leaders who gathered to seek blessings for the safe and successful pilgrimage. The buses carrying pilgrims to the revered Sudh Mahadev shrine were ceremonially flagged off by BJP OBC Morcha J&K State President Braham Jyot Satti along with Parmod Kapahi, former Councillor and BJP Prabhari Udhampur. Amid chants of “Har Har Mahadev” and devotional hymns, the leaders extended their heartfelt wishes to the yatris and prayed for their safe journey and spiritual fulfilment. Before the flag-off ceremony, Braham Jyot Satti performed traditional Kanjak Pujan, seeking divine blessings for peace, prosperity and the successful completion of the sacred pilgrimage. The ritual added a deeply spiritual essence to the programme and reflected the rich cultural and religious traditions of Jammu region. Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Braham Jyot Satti said that Sudh Mahadev Yatra holds immense religious significance for the people of Jammu and Kashmir and attracts devotees from across the country every year. He said that BJP has always remained committed towards preserving and promoting the spiritual and cultural heritage of the region. He appreciated the efforts of the Bhagwati Nagar Welfare Association for making elaborate arrangements for the pilgrims and ensuring their comfort and convenience. He also extended his best wishes to the devotees and highlighted the importance of such religious events in strengthening social harmony, brotherhood and collective faith among the people. He said that these yatras not only connect devotees spiritually but also help in preserving centuries-old traditions and values. |
