Early Times Report JAMMU, May 26: The legacy of Sabre fencing in Jammu & Kashmir continued to shine at the national arena as young and promising fencer Vansh Raina brought laurels to the Union Territory by winning a Silver Medal in Sabre Individual category in the ongoing 21st Cadet National Fencing Championship presently undergoing at Rudrapur, Uttrakhand. The talented newcomer displayed remarkable skill, determination, and fighting spirit throughout the championship and secured the Silver Medal in the Sabre event against top fencers from across the country. His outstanding performance reflects the growing standard of fencing in Jammu & Kashmir and continues the proud tradition of Sabre excellence at the national level. On the basis of this performance, he has also been selected for the High Performance Centre at Vijayi Bharat Sports Academy, Gujarat. Vijay Kumar, President, and Adv. Supriya Chouhan, Secretary of the Jammu & Kashmir Fencing Association termed the achievement a proud moment for the Union Territory and extended their heartfelt congratulations to the fencer for this remarkable accomplishment and conveyed their best wishes for his future endeavors. International fencer Rashid Ahmed Choudhary, International referee, congratulated the young fencer for making Jammu & Kashmir proud at the national arena and expressed hope that Vansh Raina will bring glory to the country at the international platform in the future.
