District Level Open Bocce Raffa Championship 2026 concludes at JP World School

JAMMU, May 26: The District Level Open Bocce Raffa Championship 2026 concluded successfully today at JP World School with great enthusiasm and participation. The championship was organized by Reffa Boules India Federation under the leadership of Secretary Sunny Nanda. More than 120 athletes from different schools and sports clubs of Jammu participated in the championship. The participating institutions included Rich Harvest School, Jammu Sanskriti School, S.D. Tara Puri High School, Shiksha Niketan Higher Secondary School, Crescent Sports Club, Presentation Convent School and JP World School. The event also witnessed the participation of 25 special players, making the championship a remarkable example of inclusive sports and equal opportunities for all athletes. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Aijaz Qaiser JKAS (Joint Director Tourism), while Pooja Malhotra (founder patron J&K sports speed ball association attended as the Guest of Honour. Special guests present during the championship included Ankush Mahajan (editor in chief Jammu bulletin news ), Tarun Uppal (President Reffa Boules India federation), Amit Mahajan (MD production house for TV serial & films) and Arpana Kholi (Principal JP world School).
The Chief Guest distributed medals among the winners and appreciated the efforts of the organizers in promoting Bocce Raffa in Jammu and Kashmir. Speaking on the occasion, Aijaz Qaiser said that Bocce Raffa is a game for all sections of society, especially for special children, and praised Sunny Nanda for providing youth with opportunities to participate in different sports across India. The vote of thanks was presented by Renu Devi, who congratulated all participants and announced that the winners of the championship have been selected for the upcoming Inter-State Championship to be held in Punjab. The gold medal winners are 1. Sanvi sharma , Amoha gupta, Nishtha saini, Shreyansh, Pushap ,Alvin, Shivansh sharma, Sahil, Yagnik, Navangad, Arnav choudhary, Anshvir Singh (Special child). Manan sharma, Akriti. Silver are 1. Yuvika Pandita, Lavania Pandita, Bhavya, Sowyam, Royal Deep, Ranveer, Mandeep, Aarav Singh, Naman Rajput. Tejas Chargotra (Special child) Mohd. Maaz, Viren Partap, Taalya, Bronze for (Special child) Jaisvi, Bhargavi, Divisha, Karanveer, Aariz Musthaq.
