| Rajouri police attaches properties worth Rs 33.50 lakh of NDPS accused Munshi Khan | | | Early Times Report RAJOURI, May 30: In a major crackdown against drug trafficking Rajouri Police has attached movable and immovable properties worth approx 33.50 lakh belonging to a notorious accused involved in multiple NDPS cases and booked under the PIT-NDPS Act. The attached properties belong to: Munshi Khan S/o Khan Mohd R/o Dhanour Dhindian Tehsil and District Rajouri and include: Single storey residential house valued at approx 30 lakh Electric auto valued at approx 3.50 lakh The attachment was carried out under the provisions of Section 68-F of the NDPS Act by Police Station Rajouri after completion of all due legal formalities. The accused is involved in multiple cases registered under the NDPS Act at different police stations across District Rajouri. This action reflects the firm resolve of Rajouri Police to combat the menace of drug trafficking by not only arresting offenders but also identifying targeting and dismantling the illegally acquired assets and financial networks of those engaged in the narcotics trade. Rajouri Police reiterates its commitment to taking stringent legal action against drug peddlers and urges the public to continue supporting the fight against narcotics for a safer and drug free society. |
