Early Times Report POONCH, June 2: As part of its continued commitment to community welfare and youth empowerment, the Indian Army organised a Nasha Mukti Abhiyan (Drug De-addiction) Awareness Drive at Choi Mohalla, Dabraj Village, Poonch. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from children, youth and adults of the locality. Through interactive sessions and awareness talks, participants were sensitised about the harmful effects of drug abuse, early signs of addiction, peer pressure and the importance of adopting a healthy, disciplined and responsible lifestyle. The initiative aimed to strengthen awareness among the younger generation, encourage community participation in combating substance abuse and promote a drug-free society. It also provided an opportunity for locals to interact with Army personnel and discuss ways to protect youth from the growing menace of drugs. |
