| District-Wide 11th, 12th Virtual Classroom facility launched in Rajouri | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, June 5: Chief Education Officer (CEO) Rajouri Mohammad Hafiz today launched the district’s first-ever Virtual Learning Network for staff-deficient schools, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at ensuring quality education, academic continuity and equal learning opportunities for students across the district. The classes will be conducted under the supervision of Principal Government Boys Higher Secondary School (BHSS) Rajouri Mohammad Muslim Wani and coordinated by Lecturer, CEO Office Imran Khan, who has been designated as the Nodal Officer for the initiative. Designed to address academic challenges arising from staff shortages, the Virtual Classroom Initiative connects students with experienced subject experts through digital platforms. The programme aims to provide quality academic guidance to students of Classes 11th and 12th, ensuring uninterrupted learning and improved examination preparedness. The inaugural session, held today, witnessed enthusiastic participation from several Higher Secondary Schools from across the district. The CEO emphasized the importance of leveraging technology to strengthen the education system and provide equal learning opportunities to all students. He stated that the initiative would help bridge educational gaps and ensure access to quality teaching across schools. During the first online academic session, Physics Lecturer from Government Higher Secondary School Rajouri Ritu Sharma delivered an insightful lecture for Class 12th students, while Teacher BHSS Vikrant Sharma conducted a Physics session for Class 11th students. Chemistry Lecturer BHSS Rajouri Mohammad Ishfaq delivered comprehensive lectures for both Classes, focusing on conceptual understanding and examination-oriented preparation. The participating schools and students appreciated the initiative and the quality of academic guidance provided during the inaugural session. The online classes would be conducted regularly with the involvement of experienced faculty members from different institutions of the district. Nodal Officer coordinated the inaugural programme and finalized the timetable for the online classes to ensure smooth implementation and effective academic engagement of students. |
