NEW DELHI, June 5: Bhupender Gupta, CMD, NHPC, led the World Environment Day celebrations in NHPC, on 05.06.2026 at NHPC Corporate Office, Faridabad by planting a sapling and launching a plantation drive. The event was organized as part of NHPC's nationwide observance of World Environment Day across its Corporate Office, Regional Offices, Power Stations, Projects and other units, reaffirming the organization's commitment to environmental sustainability.
Addressing the gathering, Gupta emphasized the need for collective action towards environmental conservation and urged everyone to adopt sustainable practices in their daily lives. He highlighted the importance of preserving ecological balance and conserving natural resources for future generations. He further underscored the significance of environmental stewardship and called upon employees to actively contribute towards building a cleaner, greener and more sustainable future. |
