American Oncology Institute Recognizes HOPRAYAS Foundation at National Cancer Survivors Day 2026

JAMMU, June 6: HOPRAYAS Foundation was recognized during the National Cancer Survivors Day 2026 programme organized by the American Oncology Institute (AOI) and ASCOMS Hospital, Jammu, in acknowledgement of its humanitarian efforts and support extended to patients and families in need.
The recognition was presented by Shri Satish Sharma, Hon'ble Cabinet Minister, Government of Jammu & Kashmir, in the presence of Shri Arun Gupta, President, Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Jammu.
The invitation to participate in the programme was received from the American Oncology Institute, making the occasion particularly meaningful for the Foundation and its volunteers. The event was dedicated to honouring cancer survivors and promoting awareness about cancer care, resilience, and healthy living.
Representing HOPRAYAS Foundation at the programme were Ashwani Sadhu, Chairman, HOPRAYAS Foundation; Vimal Pandita, State Coordinator, Jammu; Vinod Bhat, State Coordinator, Jammu; and other members of Team HOPRAYAS.
The recognition was received on behalf of the entire HOPRAYAS family, including its volunteers, blood donors, supporters, well-wishers and trusted contributors who have continuously supported the Foundation's humanitarian initiatives over the years.
Speaking on the occasion, representatives of the Foundation expressed gratitude to the organizers for the invitation and recognition. They emphasized that the honour belongs collectively to all those who have contributed their time, effort, resources and compassion towards serving society through various initiatives undertaken by the Foundation.
The Foundation also dedicated the recognition to cancer survivors whose courage, determination and resilience continue to inspire individuals and communities alike.
Over the years, HOPRAYAS Foundation has been involved in humanitarian activities including blood donation support, patient assistance, community welfare initiatives, awareness programmes and emergency assistance for those in need. The Foundation continues to work with the belief that meaningful change is possible when communities come together in the spirit of service.
HOPRAYAS Foundation remains committed to strengthening its efforts in the areas of healthcare support, humanitarian assistance and community service, while working alongside volunteers and supporters across different regions of the country.
