Katra, June 7: MLA Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Constituency, Shri Baldev Raj Sharma, today attended the 5th All India Astrology Conference at Bali Resort, Katra, as the Chief Guest. The prestigious conference witnessed the participation of renowned astrologers, numerologists, Vastu experts, and scholars from various parts of India. The event served as a platform for meaningful discussions on astrology, Vedic sciences, spirituality, and India’s rich cultural heritage. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Baldev Raj Sharma appreciated the efforts of the organizers for successfully conducting such a significant national-level conference in Katra. He highlighted the importance of preserving and promoting India’s ancient knowledge systems and cultural traditions. In his address, Shri Sharma expressed gratitude to the Central Government for the unprecedented infrastructure development taking place in Jammu & Kashmir. He specifically thanked the Government for the ongoing Delhi–Amritsar–Katra Expressway, the new Jammu–Katra railway line, and the proposed four-laning of the Katra–Reasi–Mahore–Gulabgarh–Nandimarg road connecting to NH-44 at Kulgam, which will significantly improve connectivity, strengthen regional integration, promote tourism, and create new opportunities for economic growth in the hilly areas. The MLA also lauded the efforts of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board for its exemplary contribution towards pilgrim welfare, infrastructure development, sanitation, and the overall management of the holy pilgrimage. He stated that the Shrine Board has played a vital role in enhancing facilities for devotees and contributing to the development of the Katra region. On the occasion, Shri Baldev Raj Sharma was felicitated by the organizers as a mark of respect and appreciation for his gracious presence and support. The conference was organized by Acharya Sagar Ji of Ghaziabad and Smt. Anjali Gupta Ji, Numerology Astrologer and Vastu Coach from Jammu, who were appreciated for their efforts in bringing together distinguished experts from across the country. The event was attended by Sardari Lal Dubey Ji, Ankush Baru Ji, Ranjit Singh Ji, Diwakar Sharma Ji, Sanjay Gandotra Ji, and Manik Baru Ji, along with a large gathering of astrologers, scholars, delegates, and enthusiasts from different states of India.
