| CMO Doda chairs block-level review meeting at Assar | | | Early Times Report ASSAR, June 13: Chief Medical Officer Doda Dr Vinod Sharma today chaired a block-level review meeting at PHC Assar to review the functioning of Medical Block Assar and assess the implementation of various health programmes. Block Medical Officer Assar Dr Syed Mohd Ismail delivered a comprehensive presentation highlighting the block's performance on various health indicators, achievements under different national health programmes and ongoing initiatives aimed at strengthening healthcare services. During the meeting, the CMO conducted a detailed review of various health programmes and emphasised the need for focussed efforts to achieve targets under the National Health Mission and other flagship health initiatives. He directed all Medical Officers and field functionaries to strengthen field-level implementation, improve service delivery and ensure quality healthcare reaches every section of the population. Dr Sharma also stressed the importance of regular monitoring, community outreach and maintaining high standards of patient care, cleanliness and public health services across the block. The Chief Medical Officer subsequently felicitated the in-charges of several health institutions for their outstanding performance under the National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) and Kayakalp programmes during 2025-26. The honoured institutions were PHC Assar, AAM Sub Centre Khellani, Sub Centre Paryote, Sub Centre Jathi, Sub Centre Shaya and Sub Centre Ramgarh. Among those present were Epidemiologist Umar Anayat, BMO Dr Syed Mohd Ismail, Medical Officers, paramedical staff and other health functionaries of Medical Block Assar. |
