| FICCI FLO JKL, Lakshyam honour traffic police personnel with cooling aids, power banks | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, June 18: In a heartfelt gesture of appreciation for the unwavering dedication and service of Jammu's traffic police personnel, FICCI FLO Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh (JKL), in collaboration with Lakshyam, distributed 100 portable neck fans and over 60 power banks to traffic officers at the Police Headquarters, Jammu. The initiative was organised to acknowledge the commitment of traffic personnel who spend long hours regulating traffic and ensuring public safety, often under challenging weather conditions and extreme summer temperatures. The neck fans and power banks are intended to provide much-needed comfort and convenience, helping officers remain connected, alert and better equipped while performing their duties in the field. The distribution programme was conducted in the presence of Ms. Nisha Nathyal, IPS, DIG Traffic Jammu-Kashmir, and Mr. Amit Bhasin, JKPS, SSP Traffic Jammu, who appreciated the thoughtful initiative and its focus on the well-being of frontline personnel. Representing FICCI FLO JKL were Ms. Varsha Bansal, Chairperson, Ms. Varuna Anand, National Initiative Head - Textiles, Handloom & Handicrafts, FICCI FLO and Past Chairperson, FICCI FLO JKL, and Ms. Sona Mehta, Vice Chairperson, FICCI FLO JKL. Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Varsha Bansal said, "Our traffic police personnel serve tirelessly at the frontlines every day, often braving harsh weather conditions to ensure the safety and convenience of the public. This initiative is a small expression of our gratitude for their invaluable service and dedication.
