Dr. Hina Shafi Bhat Conferred Prestigious NAREDCO Mahi Sheros Award at National Convention in New Delhi

NEW DELHI, June 20: Dr. Hina Shafi Bhat was honoured with the prestigious NAREDCO Mahi Sheros Award at the 5th NAREDCO Mahi Real Estate Convention held at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, in recognition of her exemplary leadership, commitment to women's empowerment, and outstanding contributions towards social development and nation-building.
The award was presented by Smt. Smriti Irani, Former Union Cabinet Minister, in the esteemed presence of Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Hon'ble Union Minister of Labour & Employment and Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, during a grand ceremony attended by policymakers, senior bureaucrats, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and distinguished guests from across the country.
Organised by NAREDCO Mahi, the women's wing of the National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO), the convention was centred around the theme "Breaking the Perception Ceiling: Women Shaping the Nation for Viksit Bharat." The event celebrated women leaders who are redefining leadership, driving innovation, and making meaningful contributions to India's vision of becoming a developed nation.
Established in 1998 under the patronage of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India, NAREDCO is the apex national body representing the real estate sector. Through NAREDCO Mahi, the organisation continues to champion greater participation and leadership of women across industries and professions.
The convention also witnessed the participation of several eminent dignitaries, including Smt. D. Thara, IAS, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs; Smt. Isha Kalia, IAS, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs; and Smt. Roopa Mishra, IAS, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India. Their presence underscored the growing importance of women-led leadership and inclusive growth in shaping the nation's future.
Receiving the honour, Dr. Hina Shafi Bhat expressed her gratitude and dedicated the award to every woman who strives to challenge limitations, break barriers, and create positive change within her community.
