Gulam Ali Khatana, today inaugurated and visited the two-day "NaYaB Mega" Lifestyle Exhibition at Hotel Meridian, Rajbagh, Srinagar, where entrepreneurs from Jammu & Kashmir and various parts of the country showcased their innovative products, handicrafts, and business ventures. During his visit, Er. Khatana toured the exhibition stalls and interacted extensively with exhibitors, appreciating their entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, and dedication towards promoting indigenous products and local industries. The exhibition featured a diverse range of products, including designer jewellery, gold and silver ornaments, ethnic wear, apparel, handicrafts, traditional sweets, fashion accessories, home décor items, and various lifestyle products. Addressing the media on the occasion, Er. Khatana said that such exhibitions provide an important platform for entrepreneurs, artisans, startups, and small business owners to showcase their products, expand their market reach, and establish direct connections with consumers. He remarked that these initiatives not only strengthen local economies but also encourage innovation, self-employment, and sustainable livelihoods. The MP noted that exhibitions like NaYaB Mega are fully aligned with the vision of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji's flagship initiatives, including "Vocal for Local," "Startup India," and "Atmanirbhar Bharat," which aim to promote indigenous industries, encourage entrepreneurship, and transform India into a self-reliant and globally competitive economy. |
