| GDC Bani organizes Poster Making Competition under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan | | | Early Times Report BANI, June 27: As part of the series of activities being conducted under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, Government Degree College Bani organized a Poster Making Competition to spread awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to encourage them to express their commitment towards building a drug-free society through creative expression. The programme was organised under the able guidance of the worthy Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Neena Gupta. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who prepared thought-provoking and visually appealing posters carrying powerful messages against substance abuse. Through their artwork, the participants highlighted the physical, psychological, social, and economic consequences of drug addiction while emphasizing the importance of adopting a healthy, disciplined, and responsible lifestyle. The event provided students with a meaningful platform to showcase their creativity and artistic talent while reinforcing the objectives of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. The posters reflected the students' awareness of the growing menace of drug abuse and their determination to contribute towards creating a society free from addiction. Addressing the participants, Prof. (Dr.) Neena Gupta, Principal, Government Degree College Bani, appreciated the creativity and enthusiasm displayed by the students. She emphasized that awareness campaigns and creative competitions play a vital role in educating young minds about the dangers of substance abuse. He urged students to become ambassadors of positive change by spreading the message of a drug-free lifestyle among their peers, families, and communities. The programme was organized under the supervision of Dr. J. S. Soodan, Physical Director, Government Degree College Bani, who coordinated the event and motivated students to actively participate in the campaign. He highlighted the importance of youth participation in social awareness initiatives and encouraged students to continue supporting the vision of a drug-free India.
