| GDC Ramgarh celebrated online Culmination event International Day | | | Early Times Report RAMGARH, June 27: As part of the observance of Nasha Mukt Bharat Saptah, Government Degree College Ramgarh organized and celebrated an online awarness programme on the theme Culmination event International Day regarding Nasha Mukt Bharat Saptah commencing from 17/06/2026 to 26/06/2026 in connection with the International Day Against Drug Abuse (NMBS) under the aegis of the NCORD ans NSS Unit of the college. The event was conducted under the esteemed guidance and patronage of the principal of the college, Dr. Meeru Abrol. She further appreciated the efforts of the NSS and NCORD Committee for organizing such meaningful activities and stressed that sustained awareness campaigns are essential for realizing the vision of a drug-free India. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Snobar. She emphasized the vital role of youth in building a healthy and progressive nation. She highlighted that drug addiction poses a serious threat to individuals, families, and society at large. She urged students to stay away from harmful substances, make responsible life choices, and become ambassadors of awareness in their communities. The session focused on raising awareness about how meaningful engagement in these activities can help reduce stress, strengthen social bonds, and inspire positive behavioural choices. During the programme students were to encouraged to participate in all such activities regarding Nasha Mukat Bharat Saptah. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks to all participants and organizers for their valuable contribution towards the success of the awareness initiative. The observance formed part of the national campaign culminating on 26 June, the International Day Against Drug Abuse, which focuses on strengthening awareness, prevention, and community participation against substance abuse. |
