BENGALURU, June 30: Four Nepalese nationals were arrested after an argument over taking photographs allegedly escalated into a physical fight between two groups, police said on Tuesday.
The incident occurred at around 5.45 pm on Sunday in front of the Vidhana Soudha, they said.
According to police, the argument broke out after one group objected to the other allegedly obstructing them while they were taking photographs.
The verbal altercation soon escalated into a physical fight, drawing the attention of bystanders. A video of the incident later went viral on social media.
The Vidhana Soudha police immediately intervened, took the four Nepalese nationals into custody and subsequently arrested them, a senior police officer said.
A case has been registered against the four, who have been remanded to judicial custody, he added. |
