Early Times Report JAMMU, July 6: Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission Charitable Hospital, Amphalla, Jammu, in collaboration with the Dev Sthan Dati Maa Chanagiya Management Committee, successfully organized a Free Multi-Specialty Medical Camp at Dev Sthan Dati Maa Chanagiya, Tehsil Arnia. The camp received an overwhelming response, with 205 patients benefiting from free specialist consultations, blood pressure and blood sugar screening, essential laboratory investigations, medicines, and cataract screening. Eligible cataract patients were registered for free Phaco (Phacoemulsification) Cataract Surgery at the hospital. The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Rajeev Kumar Bhagat, Hon'ble MLA, Bishnah Constituency, who appreciated the hospital's continuous efforts in providing affordable and quality healthcare, particularly to the rural and border population, and encouraged the institution to continue organizing such charitable initiatives. Specialist medical services were provided by Dr. Arvind Kohli (Medical Director SVMM & CVTS Surgeon), Dr. Suruchi Gupta (Senior Eye Surgeon), Dr. Akhil Mahajan (Orthopaedic Surgeon), Dr. Uttam Chand Sharma (Physician), and Dr. Rishabh Sharma (Dermatologist) , Dr. Akriti Gupta (Dental Surgeon) and Dr. Meena Gupta. The programme was attended by the Management Committee of SVMM , including Shri Amar Chand Gupta (President ), Shri B. B. Gupta (Senior Vice President ), Shri B. S. Jamwal (General Secretary ), and Dr. Sachin Gupta (Treasurer ). Also present were Dr. Rabinder Rattanpal (Medical Superintendent ), Shri Pawan Kumar Sharma (Liaison Officer). Special coordination was extended by Shri Bharat Choudhary (President, Dev Sthan Dati Maa Chanagiya Management Committee), Shri Pawan Gupta (Secretary), Shri Suresh Gupta (Member), and Shri Raghubir Singh (Sarpanch, Chanagiya).
