Poonch, July 9: Indian Army organised a special E-Tour of Agra for children and adults of Choi Mohalla, Dabraj, a remote border village, to bring India’s rich cultural heritage closer to the local community through an immersive digital experience. The initiative provided participants with a virtual tour of Agra’s iconic historical monuments, including its world-renowned architectural and cultural landmarks. Through audio-visual displays and interactive narration, the participants were introduced to the glorious legacy, history and heritage of the nation. The event generated great enthusiasm among children and adults, many of whom experienced such a digital cultural tour for the first time. It offered them an opportunity to learn about India’s diverse traditions, national pride and historical achievements from their own village. The programme also helped foster national integration, strengthen community bonds and inspire young minds by connecting them with the country’s shared cultural identity. The local residents expressed gratitude to the Indian Army for organising the meaningful initiative, which reaffirmed the Indian Army’s continued commitment to education, awareness and community outreach in remote border areas. |
