Early Times Report JAMMU, July 11: Jodhamal Public School, in collaboration with the Good School Alliance (GSA) and the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), successfully organised a Food Literacy Workshop for its staff and students, reinforcing the importance of food safety, nutrition, and health literacy within educational institutions. The workshop was led by Preeti, Assistant Director (Technical), Northern Region, FSSAI, who sensitised educators to the significance of food safety and health literacy in schools. She encouraged teachers to integrate healthy food practices and nutrition awareness seamlessly into everyday teaching and learning, thereby fostering healthier lifestyles among students. The programme was graced by the Guest of Honour, Professor Pawan Kumar Gupta, whose unwavering commitment to educational excellence continues to inspire innovative learning opportunities for both teachers and students. The workshop was organised in association with Jugjiv Singh, Governing Council Member, Good School Alliance, whose dedicated efforts continue to promote food literacy and awareness across schools. The event was meticulously coordinated by the organising committee comprising Kunal Rajpurohit, Organiser, Good School Alliance, and Namrata Sharma, CCA In-charge, whose dedicated planning ensured the smooth and successful conduct of the programme. The proceedings were confidently compered by students Amay Gupta and Praanya Puri, who displayed remarkable confidence and poise throughout the event.
