| MMU camp organized at Thandadub village, Channi, block Sunderbani | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, July 11: As per the directions of District Development Commissioner Rajouri & Chairman DHS, Rajouri and CMO Rajouri Dr. M.L. Rana, and under the overall supervision and presence of BMO Sunderbani Dr. Meena Kumari, a Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) Camp was organized at Thandadub Village, Channi to provide healthcare facilities to people living in far-flung and inaccessible areas of Block Sunderbani. A team of doctors, paramedics and health staff from Health Department Sunderbani attended the camp. Key Services Provided are Free OPD consultation by team of doctors , Free medicines ( Allopathic and Ayurvedic ) distributed after consultation ,Free diagnostic tests including Hb and Blood Sugar, Sputam, Dental, Vission checkup. Awareness on Hygiene, Anemia Mukt Bharat, Water-borne diseases,Malaria-Dengue, Communicable & Non-Communicable Diseases, TB, Ayushman bharat abhiyan, Nasha Mukt bharat abhiyan,HPV vaccine and other public health issues given by Dr Arjun Sharma during the camp. The total OPD was: 239 (Male: 92 | Female: 147 ) Children: 62 Elderly: 33 NCD Screening: 178 TB Sputum Sample Collection:25, RBSK Screening 26, ANC/PNC Checkup: 8 , Immunization: 15, Blood Tests: 167 (Hb & Blood Sugar) , Vission checkup 93 ( 6 cataract), dental checkup 62, Referrals to higher centers: 20 Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Meena Kumari, BMO Sunderbani said that the aim of such camps is to ensure quality healthcare services reach the doorstep of people residing in remote and inaccessible areas. She added that under the guidance of DDC Rajouri and CMO Rajouri, such MMU camps will be conducted daily this week in different far-flung areas of Block Sunderbani to increase coverage and awareness. Dr. Arjun Sharma, Dr. Alka, Dr. Preetbandhu, Vipul Dutta, Rajinder Kumar, Harvinder Singh, Davinder Khajuria, Zaqir Hussain, Neelam Rani, Anil Kumar, Ajay Sushma, Geeta Devi, ASHA Workers, AWWs, AWHs and volunteers also rendered their services during the camp. The local population of Thandadub and adjoining villages expressed gratitude to the District Administration, Health Department and the medical team for organizing the camp. |
