Early Times Report JAMMU, July 12: A delegation of Shiv Sena Hindustan, led by its Jammu & Kashmir President, Pt. Rajesh Kesri, visited Shri Ram Temple, Old Mandi, Jammu, and participated in a programme organised in connection with the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra. During the visit, Pt. Rajesh Kesri appreciated the dedicated service of Mahamandaleshwar Shri 1008 Rameshwar Das Ji Maharaj, stating that he has been actively associated with the annual Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra since 1982. He said the Mahamandaleshwar has been rendering selfless service to saints and pilgrims by ensuring proper accommodation, meals and other essential arrangements at Shri Ram Temple, Old Mandi. According to Kesri, these efforts have earned the temple recognition across the country for its tradition of hospitality and service. Pt. Kesri, however, expressed concern that although the government had been supplying essential food items such as flour, rice and sugar to the temple for the service of saints during previous years, no such ration has been provided this year so far. He termed the situation unfortunate and strongly criticised the alleged lapse. He urged the Jammu & Kashmir Government, particularly the Minister in charge of the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, to ensure that the required food supplies are delivered to Shri Ram Temple without delay so that saints and pilgrims do not face any inconvenience during the Yatra. The Shiv Sena Hindustan leaders and saints present on the occasion raised slogans of "Bam Bam Bhole" and offered prayers for the peaceful and successful completion of the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra. They prayed for the safety and well-being of all pilgrims undertaking the holy pilgrimage. |
