| Indian Army conducted closnig ceremony of welding course at Gwari | | |

DODA, July 13: The Indian Army has been constantly undertaking a variety of programmes for the locals of the region with special focus on employment generation. In continuing with the same spirit, Indian Army conducted a one month Welding Course at Vill-Gwari under Operation Sadbhavana Project wef 08 Jun to 12 Jul 2026.
This training programme was inaugurated on 08 Jun 2026 and was attended by 10 candidates hailing from far flung areas of Gwari region from varied backgrounds. The course was conducted under competent instructor and was designed to equip candidates with adequate knowledge, technical skills and attitude necessary in this field.
Speaking during the closing ceremony, the trained youth expressed their gratitude towards the Army for the noble initiative and for providing them an opportunity to acquire this skill which will further help them to earn a decent livelihood. The conduct of such training will surely go a long way in helping the unemployed youth of the area to find gainful self-employment and also encourage entrepreneurship amongst participants. |
