Early Times Report NOWSHERA, July 14: As part of its sustained efforts to guide local youth towards meaningful career opportunities and motivate them to serve the nation, the Indian Army organised a motivational lecture titled "Live a Life Less Ordinary: Join Indian Army" at Palash Nowshera Boys Sports Hostel, District Rajouri. The lecture aimed to familiarise students with the various career opportunities available in the Indian Defence Forces, including officer entries and the Agniveer Entry Scheme. The participants were briefed about eligibility criteria, educational qualifications, selection procedures and service options, including Permanent Commission and Short Service Commission. Through motivational videos and interactive discussions, the students were introduced to the adventurous, disciplined and professionally rewarding life offered by the Defence Forces. The Army representatives also highlighted opportunities for personal growth, job satisfaction, leadership development and service to the motherland. The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer segment, during which students' queries were addressed in detail. A total of 25 students and six teachers attended the programme and appreciated the initiative, stating that such lectures would help youth make informed career choices and inspire them to join the Defence Forces with pride. |
