Drug peddler arrested with heroin at Phalata by Udhampur police

UDHAMPUR, July 15: Continuing its drive against drug trafficking under the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan. Udhampur Police apprehended one person during routine traffic checking at Phalata Naka, NH-44. During the personal search of Neeraj Sharma S/O Mool Raj Sharma R/O Jib, Fantyal, Udhampur Police team of PS Rehambal recovered 4.45 grams of heroin from his possession.
Accordingly, FIR No. 185/2026 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Rehambal.
Further investigation is underway.
