Early Times Report JAMMU, July 15: Continuing his focus on strengthening civic infrastructure in Jammu West, MLA Arvind Gupta on Tuesday inaugurated lane and drain development works worth Rs 25 lakh in Ward No. 25. The project is aimed at improving road connectivity, ensuring proper drainage, and enhancing basic civic amenities for local residents. Addressing the gathering, Arvind Gupta said that the development of quality infrastructure remains one of his highest priorities and that several projects are being executed across Jammu West to improve the standard of living of the people. "Our commitment is to provide better civic facilities to every resident of Jammu West. Strengthening basic infrastructure through quality roads and an efficient drainage system is essential for the overall development of the area. We are ensuring that every project is completed with quality workmanship and within the stipulated timeframe," he said. The MLA reiterated that his vision is to ensure balanced and inclusive development across all wards by addressing long-pending public demands and accelerating infrastructure projects. Residents of Ward No. 25 welcomed the initiative and expressed gratitude to the MLA for fulfilling their long-pending demand for improved lanes and drainage facilities. They said the project would significantly improve daily commuting and help prevent waterlogging during the rainy season.
