Early Times Report RAMBAN, July 21: With the aim of promoting environmental conservation and creating awareness among students about the importance of protecting nature a plantation drive was organized by 84 CRPF at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kowbagh, Ramban. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from the teachers and students of Kendriya Vidyalaya, who joined the troops of 84 CRPF in planting saplings across the school premises. The drive was jointly supervised by Assistant Commandant, 84 CRPF, Deepak Shukla, and Principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya S. S. Yadav, who appreciated the collective efforts of all participants in making the event a success. During the drive, around 50 saplings of fruit-bearing and environmentally beneficial species, including guava, jamun, and loquat, were planted. The initiative highlighted the importance of increasing green cover and encouraged students to take responsibility for nurturing the plants in the future. At the conclusion of the programme, chocolates were distributed among the children as a token of appreciation for their enthusiastic participation, adding joy to the event and motivating them to continue contributing towards environmental protection. |
