SHIMLA, July 21: Governor of Himachal Pradesh, Kavinder Gupta, has expressed profound grief over the tragic loss of lives in the devastating landslide that struck a house in Poonch district of Jammu & Kashmir.
In his condolence message, the Governor said that he was deeply saddened by the tragic incident and extended his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families. He prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed souls and provide strength and courage to the grieving families to bear this irreparable loss. The Governor also wished a speedy recovery to those injured and prayed for the safety and well-being of all those affected by the heavy rains and natural calamities in the region. He expressed hope that the ongoing rescue and relief efforts would bring timely assistance to the affected families. |
