Early Times Report RAMNAGAR, July 25: The NCC Unit of Government Degree College Ramnagar commemorated the 27th Kargil Vijay Diwas with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor under the esteemed patronage of Prof. Daljeet Singh Manhas, Principal, GDC Ramnagar. The program commenced with a warm welcome address by Lt. Puyesh Kant Sharma, ANO, NCC GDC Ramnagar, who highlighted the significance of observing Kargil Vijay Diwas and emphasized the importance of remembering the sacrifices made by the brave soldiers of the Indian Armed Forces. The event featured inspiring speeches by Cadet Chaman Kumar and Senior Under Officer (SUO) Nitin Kumar, who paid heartfelt tributes to the martyrs of the Kargil War. This was followed by a group patriotic song presented by NCC cadets, which filled the atmosphere with national pride. Adding depth to the occasion, Dr. Pankaj Sharma delivered a thought-provoking lecture on Operation Vijay, elaborating on the courage, determination, and valor displayed by Indian soldiers during the Kargil conflict. In his address, the worthy Principal, Prof. Daljeet Singh Manhas, motivated the gathering with his nationalistic ideas and urged students to imbibe the spirit of patriotism and service to the nation. The formal vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Sumita Rao, HoD Zoology, who expressed gratitude to all participants and attendees for making the event a success.
