Early Times Report JAMMU, July 26: In continuation of its community policing initiatives, Police Station Khour today organised a Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting with the youth of Khour Market and adjoining areas falling under its jurisdiction to strengthen police-public coordination and address public concerns. The meeting witnessed the participation of youth representatives and local residents, who actively interacted with the police and raised various issues pertaining to public safety and policing. The police officers patiently listened to their grievances and assured that all issues relating to the Police Department would be addressed on priority, while matters concerning other departments would be taken up with the concerned authorities for appropriate action. During the interaction, the participants were encouraged to maintain close coordination with the police, share information regarding any suspicious activities on 112, and extend their cooperation in maintaining peace, communal harmony, and a crime-free environment in the area. The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of the commitment of Jammu Police towards community policing, prompt grievance redressal, and strengthening the bond of trust between the police and the public. |
