Early Times Report SAMBA, July 29: Samba Police today organized a Cyber Security Awareness Workshop at the Conference Hall DPO Samba. The workshop was conducted under the directions of the SSP Samba with the objective of sensitizing police personnel on cyber security do's and don'ts and promoting the adoption of basic cyber hygiene practices. The workshop was attended by the staff of DPO Samba along with police personnel from all subordinate units of Samba Police. The technical session was conducted by resource person from the District Technical Team (DTT), Samba and the Incharge IT Section, DPO Samba, who delivered an informative PowerPoint presentation highlighting the latest cyber threats and the preventive measures required to minimize cyber risks. It was emphasized that cyber security is a collective responsibility and that adherence to prescribed security protocols is essential for protecting sensitive official information. During the session, the participants were sensitized on a wide range of cyber security practices. At the conclusion of the programme, DySP Hqrs Samba emphasized the need for strict implementation of all cyber security advisories issued by the District Police Office as well as higher headquarters. |
