JAMMU, July 30: Department of Youth Services and Sports of District Jammu held Inter-School District Level selection trials/competitions held at MA Stadium, KK Hakoo Stadium, and Green Field Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
Inter-School District Level Selection trials /competitions in the disciplines of Gatka, Soft Tennis, Rugby, and Cricket Girls'. These selection trials/competitions are being organized in the Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 age categories for girls with enthusiastic participation from government and private schools across the district. More than 356 students participated in theses competitions, making the event a grand success. These competitions providing a platform for young players to showcase their talents and vie for the victory in these esteemed competitions
These competitions are being organised under the patronage of Director General Youth Services and Sports JK UT Smt. Anuradha Gupta (JKAS) under the guidance of Joint Director Youth Services and Sports Jammu Sh. Inderjeet Singh (JKAS) and under the overall supervision of DYSSO Jammu Sukhdev Raj Sharma.
DYSSO Jammu appreciated the dedicated efforts of the organizing committee, conveners, technical officials, and Physical Education staff. He expressed confidence that the competitions would provide a strong platform for nurturing young sporting talent and strengthening the culture of sports in the district. Match was officiated by Hardeep Singh , Gurbachan Singh , Davinder Singh, Amandeep Singh, Joti Sharma, Gourav Sharma, Neeraj Padha, Mandeep Singh, Karanjeet Singh and Kamal Singh.UMASHWAR SINGH
