JAMMU, July 31: The Jammu District Association of the Deaf, an Associate Member of the All Jammu and Kashmir Sports Association of the Deaf, sponsored by the ammu and Kashmir Sports Council and functioning under the acgis of the All India Sports Council of the Deaf, New Delhi, is pleased to announce the onganization of the 3rd Jammu District Sub-Junior, Junior & Senior Games Championship of the Deaf, to be held on 30 and 31 July 2026. The championship is being ongnized with the objective of promoing sports and physical activity among deaf athletes at the ditrict level and providingg a structured patform for sub-junior, junior, and senior athletes to participate, compete, and showcase their sporting talent. "The event will be conducted in the presence of the following dignitaries and ofiicials: Bashir Ahmad Divisional Sports Officer, Jammu & Krhnr Sports Council, MA Stacium, Jammu o Karn Dhmir Vice President, All Jammu and Kahnir Sports Asociaion of the Deaf Ms. Arshi Nad Manager, Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council o Vitas Dorga (Coach) Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council The championship is erpected to encourage geater participation of deaf athletes in sports, identify emerging talent at the grassroots level, and promote the values of discipline, fair play, inclusivity, sportsmanship, and equal opportunity. The Jamnu District Association of the Deaf extends its best wishes to all paricipating athletes and expresses its sincere appreciation to the dignitaries, officis, volunteers, supporters, and all stakebolders for their valuable coatribubion towards the successful conduct of the championship. |
