Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 6: To nurture a love for the Hindi language, strengthen pronunciation, and build confidence and public speaking skills among young learners, Delhi Public School, Jammu organised a Hindi Recitation Competition for the students of Class I on 4th August 2026. The event provided an excellent platform for the budding speakers to showcase their talent, creativity, and confidence through the expressive recitation of Hindi poems. The competition was judged by Shipra Sharma and Meenakshi Thakur, who appreciated the participants for their impressive performances, clear diction, expressive gestures, and confident stage presence. The young participants enthralled the audience with poems based on a variety of meaningful themes, including nature, trees, books, time, pollution, Swachh Bharat, daughters, school, water conservation, and other inspiring topics. Their enthusiasm, confidence, and love for the Hindi language made the event both engaging and memorable. Following the competition, the winners were felicitated by Meenu Gupta, Vice Principal, who distributed the prizes and congratulated the young achievers for their outstanding performances. Addressing the students, she encouraged them to continue participating in such activities with confidence, nurture their love for the Hindi language, and keep striving for excellence through regular practice and self-expression.
