JAMMU, Aug 13: In a significant success against drug trafficking, Police Station Bahu Fort, Jammu, achieved another breakthrough in its sustained campaign against narcotics and substance abuse.
As part of intensified anti-drug operations, a police team of Police Station Bahu Fort apprehended one accused person, identified as MINTU, and recovered 2.548 kilograms of ganja-like substance from his possession.
In this connection, FIR No. 253/2026 has been registered at Police Station Bahu Fort under the relevant provisions of law. Further investigation is underway to ascertain the source of the recovered contraband and identify its forward linkages and other persons involved in the illicit drug trade.
The successful operation reflects the unwavering commitment of Jammu Police towards curbing the menace of drugs and safeguarding the youth and society from the harmful effects of narcotics.
